Dr. Veerappan Sutharsanam joined CJNC in 2013. He received his medical degree from Madras Medical College in Chennai, India. He completed Pediatric Residency at the Brooklyn Hospital in Brooklyn, NY and Neonatology Fellowship training at Saint Peters University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. He is board certified in both Pediatrics and Neonatology. Veerappan has received multiple awards, including Physician of the Year Award at Hunterdon Hospital in 2008, and Top Doctor of NJ in 2009. He is married with two children and loves spending time in his garden, cooking Indian food and volunteering with his church. His favorite sports are soccer and field hockey.
