Dr. Joie Fisher joined CJNC in 2012. She graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a BS in Pre-professional Sciences and a minor in Theology. Joie attended Des Moines University of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her residency through the Atlantic Health System, working at both Morristown Medical Center in Morristown, NJ and Overlook Hospital-UMDNJ in Summit, NJ. She attended Fellowship at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, NY. Joie is board certified in General Pediatrics and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine. She has also received many awards including the Gloria O. Schrager, M.D. Pediatric Resident for Excellence in Teaching Award in 2004, Best Oral Presentation Award from the NY Perinatal Society in 2007, and PAS Young Investigators Travel Award in 2007 and 2008. She loves to travel, spend time with family and friends, and especially loves watching college sports (Go Fighting Irish!).
